The research has revealed measureable changes in the brain which can be detected long before AD symptoms appear according to Creighton Phelps, Ph.D., program director of the Alzheimer’s Disease Centers Program at the National Institutes of Health. This will enable the development of strategies that will impact the progression of AD much earlier in its development.
